Add Value by Removing!
How often do you approach building something by taking parts out. Consider this…
1.) The iPod saw great success by removing clunky buttons from the music player and replacing with a simple elegant scroll.
2.) Food sellers see great success by keeping things natural and removing artificially added sugars, flavourings and ingredients from their products.
3.) Websites and software creators see great success by removing unwanted, unused, and undesirable features in the products they ship.
Often, it’s tempting to believe that ADDING VALUE simply entails ADDING MORE STUFF. While that is true, we must also remember that “REMOVING” is a process that is just as effective in adding value.
