Are you proud when a job you’ve set out to do is complete? What does completion mean to you? Here’s something to consider…
1.) When we do work, there are several ways to measure completion.
-Job is done. Or
-Difference has been made.
2.) Now, I want you to stop and think about that more closely!
How would you do your work differently if you didn’t consider the job complete until some DIFFERENCE has been made?
3.) That difference might mean a customer felt delighted, a student finally learned a new concept, a patient got healed, a friend/colleague/family member felt valued.
Don’t just get work done. Go out and make a difference!
