Quality is usually unnecessary. And many times undesirable.

In business, life, or relations, it’s important to understand quality. More importantly, understand the things that absolutely require quality and the ones where quality if just a fad – used by marketers to sell more.

Buying a pacemaker? Then quality is key. You want to get the best quality you can, over everything else. The stakes are too high, and there is no room for errors. 

Buying a pair of sneaker? Then quality (which often is substituted for perfection) is absolutely not necessary. A $50 and a $500 or $5000 would perform the same function.
