Thank You!
We say it often. But why do we say it? And, what does it mean in different languages?
1.) In English, “Thank You”. It derives from the word “think” or “remember”. Meaning, “I will remember what you did for me”.
2.) In Portuguese, “Obrigado”. Meaning, “much obliged” — or “I am in your debt.” .
3.) In French “Merci” . It derives from “Mercy” — or “I am begging for your mercy”

So, whether you are begging for MERCY, being INDEBTED to someone or simply promising to REMEMBER what someone did for you, don’t forget to do with it a sense of gratitude and to leave saying: THANK YOU!

Stay Thankful! Stay Humble! ***************************
